Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, she released her first music album called It's Tina Time. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made an impact as a successful director in several well-known television series including Supernatural or The 100. Born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there for the last ten years.
