Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in America. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. In New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She was noticed in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
